Just got my connection back it keeps dropping out!
32 years wow and you were only there for 2 or 3? hehehe guess you like it there then *g*
Rule 8 of course
Re: Tennis I've never heard of the other Spanish player either apparently he's #56 in the world so Murray should knock him out easily. And that sounds like me I hate being interrupted when a good match is on! I don't bother with the Ladies matches just the mens and the over 40's have all the older players they're usually great matches because the players banter back and forth while they're playing it's such a laugh.
And according to google it's Farnborough, Hampshire Hehehe!!!
Well Nadal's playing on Monday so you have that to look forward too *bg* although with Murray playing someone from Spain they might show that as well ;)
I don't mind watching the World Cup but I don't bother with club football my nephew is Man Utd obsessed and he thinks every one else should be interested in it as well :o the only upside of that is he's easy to buy for heheh!!
Never been to Hampshire I live up north in Bradford West Yorkshire. I will be going to London next year I won two tickets to the Olympics! it was a competition with Visa. I won a pair of tickets, a £100 per paid visa card for travel expenses and a travel pass for travel round London. The only trouble is the tickets are for Equestrian Dressage and horses are not my thing!!! Won't get the tickets till next year so I'm gonna put them on ebay and take my nephew to London for the day anyway :)
True! Depending on whether it coincides with work.
I don't mind watching a match live in a stadium - have been to see Athletic Club of Bilbao a couple of times when they've played a home match - and so long as you agree with the fans of your team and state the refereehas no idea what he's doing it can even be good - lol
Bradford's quite a way from Hampshire. The only place I've been in Yorkshire is Scarborough - mum was a Geordie so we used to go to Newcastle but one year we went to the beach at Scarborough.
Lucky you to win tickets for the Olympics but I can understand not wanting to watch something you don't like. I don't mind dressage but the reduced version you get on the Beeb. Good idea putting the tickets on Ebay you should get good money. Why not offer them at the local racecourses too.
That's not a bad idea I never thought of the racecourses.
They're actually a really good pair of tickets I got the letter about them on Thursday there for the 7th August and when I looked it up on the official website their for the final and the medal ceremony! On the news the other night it was saying over half the people who've applied for tickets haven't got what they wanted so anyone who's really interested in that kind of thing might pay good money for them :)
I won't be getting them till next year though so we'll see then where's best to put them I wouldn't be surprised if there's a scramble for tickets nearer the time
That's true I'm thinking ebay would be a good bet though I already have a account from Xmas I got my nephew some retro Man Utd shirts all you need is two people who really want them and you're laughing *g*
We'll see what happens next year I'm gonna use whatever I get for them for spending money I bet prices will be double what they normally are in London I was looking at coach and train fares for next year and they're definitely a lot more than they are now I'm glad for that pre paid visa I thought £100 would pay for the travel and I'd have some left over .... no such luck that £100 will just cover it!
But hey I wouldn't be going at all if I hadn't got lucky so I'm not going to complain! we can always play tourist it's been years since I've been to London or just sit in Hyde Park they'll have the big screens up the atmosphere should be great.
I'm betting prices will be double or more in London with the Olympics, as if they weren't high enough as it is. On the plus side there's bound to be a great atmosphere, and I'm sure your nephew will love it, especially if he's never been

On Spanish TV we get mainly Nadal's matches, football dominates here *groans*
