I just remembered I said I'd post Tony's Christmas present from Gibbs, made to go with my fic 'Ten Years in the Making ', in a separate post after Christmas...

Before I got carried away writing the fic and Gibbs told me he was making Tony's Christmas present my brain took a left turn (among other things) and it decided Gibbs would make Tony's Christmas present - a wooden Gibbs/DiNozzo Coat of Arms - I actually made one that was more in line with the DiNozzo COA I did for challenge #12 at [ profile] gibbs_dinozzo (you can find that and another one here) so, as it seems a waste to let it languish on my laptop, I thought I post it along with the wooden one for your enjoyment *g*

BTW the link to this at the bottom of the fic (which takes you to my scrapbook) still stands as is because I kinda like how it looks when you open Tony's pressie :)

The Wooden COA Gibbs made Tony

(The fic that goes with it can be found here)

The Original COA (done before Gibbs the fic took over my brain)

They're great but the wooden one is so fitting! Did Gibbs carve it?

Thank you and yep...I did the bottom one first and started to write a few lines to go with it 2,000 words later it turned into a fic I did for tibbs_yuletide! About half way through writing I decided Gibbs would probably hole up in his basement for a few weeks and make a coat of arms from wood so the wooden one was born *g*

I put a link to the wooden one at the end of the fic but that goes to my scrapbook so I figured I'd post them both here now because I'm having a laptop clear out for the new year ;)

They are both wonderful, but I just the masculine feel of the wooden one. :)
